You can schedule deletion of your Bible Life account from the app. This page explains the request, 30-day cancellation period, and what happens to associated data.
How to request deletion
- Open Bible Life and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Open Settings and choose Delete Account.
- Review the warning and confirm the deletion request.
If you cannot access the app, email [email protected] from the address linked to your account. We may ask you to verify account ownership.
30-day cancellation period
When you schedule deletion, Bible Life records a deletion date 30 days later. During that period you may return to Settings and cancel the request. After the scheduled date, the account becomes eligible for permanent deletion and may no longer be recoverable.
Data included in deletion
Deletion is intended to remove the account and personal app data associated with it, including:
- Profile and authentication information.
- Journal entries, prayers, and reflections.
- Saved verses, Bible notes, preferences, and app history tied to the account.
- Other user-specific records that are deleted through the account relationship.
Content you shared outside Bible Life, or copies saved by another person, may remain outside our control.
Information that may remain
We may retain limited information when necessary for legal obligations, transaction records maintained by Apple or Google, fraud and security prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement of agreements. Secure backup copies may persist for a limited period before they are overwritten. Any retained information remains subject to our Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions are separate
Deleting your Bible Life account does not automatically cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google. Cancel the subscription separately in your App Store or Google Play account settings to prevent future renewals.
